Unsecured, interest-free loans can help cover up to 50 per cent of the eligible start-up, working capital, and capital costs of a new establishment, modernization, or expansion project. Related operational costs for activities such as training, studies, marketing/trade, productivity improvement, quality assurance, and environmental management systems may be eligible for up to 75 per cent financing. All loans are repayable on a schedule tailored to your circumstance.

The Nova Scotia-Caribbean Liaison supports the marketing efforts of Nova Scotia organizations wishing to export their products and services to the Caribbean market. This program is designed to assist companies engaged primarily in the professional services, energy, environment, agricultural & agrifood/seafood, and education and training sectors. Countries of focus include: Trinidad & Tobago, Guyana, Barbados/OECS, Jamaica and the Dominican Republic. Assistance will also be provided to those seeking business support within the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States. The export marketing assistance provided by the Nova Scotia-Caribbean Liaison will be in the following streams: Business Matchmaking, After Care, Project/Opportunity Identification; and Local Partner Identification.
