The Nova Scotia-Caribbean Liaison supports the export development efforts of Nova Scotia organizations wishing to export their products and services to the Caribbean market. This program is designed to assist companies engaged primarily in the agricultural (agrifood/seafood), education and training, energy, environment, manufacturing and professional service sectors. Countries of focus include: Barbados, Dominican Republic, Guyana, Jamaca, Suriname, Trinidad & Tobago and countries of the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS).
The export marketing assistance provided by the Nova Scotia-Caribbean Liaison will be in the following streams: Business Matchmaking, After Care or Follow-up, Project/Opportunity Identification; and Local Partner Program guidelines and the application formoffer further information on the specific countries and sectors of focus covered by the program. The program is an initiative supported by the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, Nova Scotia Business Inc. and EduNova, along with the Nova Scotia departments of Energy, Environment, and Agriculture.
